Responsibilities: Chesapeake College invites applicants for Director of the college’s Cambridge Center. This position is responsible for daily operations of the Cambridge Center, for supervising Center staff, and for updating and implementing the Center’s long-term vision and Strategic Plan. The Director chairs the community-based Cambridge Center Advisory Committee and represents the Cambridge Center on relevant college-wide committees. This person also serves as on-site student conduct administrator and advocate, working with the Center’s faculty and staff to ensure provision of resources necessary to serve students.
Required: Master’s degree. At least two (2) to five (5) years supervisory experience. At least one (1) to two (2) years prior budgetary experience. At least one (1) to two (2) years prior experience in an educational setting. Ability to speak in public. Ability to work effectively with internal and external constituencies. Good communication skills. Ability to develop and monitor long-range plans and assess programs and services.
