ROMANCE STUDIES: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Spanish Language

Full-time and Part-time Lecturers (non-tenure-track)

The Department of Romance Studies at Tufts University is soliciting applications for a Full-Time Lecturer position and Part-Time Lecturer positions in Spanish for Fall 2018, to teach beginning, intermediate and advanced language classes. The start date of the appointment will be September 1, 2018, and classes begin on September 4, 2018.


Candidates must have a BA or equivalent (required); an MA, PhD, or equivalent graduate degree are preferred. Previous college-level teaching experience is essential. Candidates must provide evidence of teaching excellence. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is essential. Familiarity with technology-assisted instruction and language-teaching methodology is desirable.
