Advertised Job Summary: Visit local high schools and participate in on and off campus recruiting events to make contact with potential students. Collect and input student data in the Target X student recruiting software program. Maintain contact with potential students throughout the recruiting process ; from application to admission and enrollment. Assist in evaluation and processing admissions applications to determine admissions eligibility to USC Union. This will include evaluating transcripts and test scores and verifying citizenship and residency. Assist Enrollment Manager with providing guidance and leadership to the Student Government Association. Develop and oversee various types of student activities such as intramural sports, movie nights, and other special student events. Work with Truluck Gymnasium work study students to plan and provide student activities in the gym. Assist incoming students at orientation and registration with setting up Self-Service Carolina accounts, Blackboard accounts, DUO Mobile security accounts, and navigating Self-Service Carolina to register for classes, pay bills, and accept financial aid awards. Maintain knowledge of financial aid programs and how they impact recruiting and admission. Assist with the coordination of USC Union Dual Enrollment programs with local high schools. Collect dual enrollment application and registration materials from participating high schools, check for accuracy, and return to the admissions office for processing. Maintain close working relationships with area high schools, industries, businesses, clubs, and other groups to increase enrollment. Assist with special campus events as needed and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree.
