Job Summary: Position Description. This position will report to the Department Head of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology in the College of Veterinary Medicine. The expectation is to teach the equivalent of one to two 3 Credit Hour courses each academic term, participate in the development of new course materials, and supervise teaching assistants. The courses will be in the area of physiology and/or pharmacology. The position is an academic, non-tenure-track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Minimum Qualifications: * Earned PhD in Physiology, Pharmacology, or a closely related field. * 4 Months Experience with instruction in Physiology or Pharmacology at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications: * 4 Months Experience with pedagogies invoking active learning in large classes. * 4 Months Experience with team teaching in courses.
