Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology. The Psychology Department invites applicants for a one-year replacement position beginning August, 2018. Ph.D. preferred in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related discipline. Teaching load is 6 courses (3 each semester) and may include Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, or other introductory topics in the candidate’s area of expertise. All faculty are expected to participate in delivering college-wide first-year/sophomore seminars. The successful candidate will provide evidence of excellence in teaching, ongoing scholarship, and professional development. Allegheny College is a highly selective private liberal arts college in NW Pennsylvania with an increasingly diverse student body and a dedicated faculty of teacher-scholars.
