The Oregon State University College of Business invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position. Primary teaching responsibilities include delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management. Scholarly activities are expected to result in peer-reviewed top-quality journal publications. Service to the College, University, and profession are also expected. College of Business academic faculty teaching assignments may include course delivery in any format (i.e., in-person, online, hybrid). 45% Teaching High-quality teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in manufacturing/service operations and supply chain management.
45% Scholarship Scientific investigations that lead to the publication of scholarly work in leading peer-reviewed journals. Assistant Professor is expected to establish a program of research/scholarship that leads to timely promotion in rank and the granting of indefinite tenure.
10% Service Service includes engaging in appropriate activities both within the University and their profession, and contributing to the College and University strategic initiatives, which may include administrative or search committees, university governance activities, and/or student advising.
