Brookdale Community College is seeking a seasoned HR professional with a successful track record managing an employer’s most valuable resources- its employees. This is a great opportunity with a great college! Major Areas of Responsibility: Classification/Compensation, Performance Management, Employee Relations, HRIS, HR Services. This is a high level position with significant responsibility, requiring experience and credentials.
Master’s degree in HR, Industrial & Labor Relations, Business Administration or a related field. Will give consideration to a Bachelor’s degree in the above fields with significant HR experience. Five or more years of directly related HR experience required. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude is required. Effective supervisory experience and excellent written and verbal skills also required. Must be capable of effective planning and priority setting. Must also be able to manage several complex projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Must maintain currency of HR related federal and state laws. Preferred experience includes: HR exp. in a unionized environment, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities preferred.
