Junior Program Manager (ITPIR)
The ITPIR Junior Program manager will support the ITPIR Program Team in a wide variety of strategic initiatives, supporting innovative student and faculty engagement related to international policy and research. In this position, the individual will help execute and run student programs, communications (social media, newsletters, advertising, etc), and events for the Institute. This position is ideal for individuals interested in a diverse, hands-on portfolio that engages with cutting edge research and a dynamic student body focused on international issues.

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
-Experience in communications, programming, and/or event planning
-An entrepreneurial, results-oriented attitude
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to participate in “big picture” thinking while carrying out tasks that require a high attention to detail
-Proven ability to undertake diverse and complex assignments with minimal supervision and resolve competing demands.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding and complex work environment, to carry out assignments in a timely manner, and to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
-Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners (including, but not limited, to alums, project team leads, campus support staff)
-Experience dealing with researchers and/or policymakers
-Experience in making presentations
-Experience working as an undergraduate research assistant or in a higher education setting
-One year of experience in higher education, communications, international relations, or international development/security
-Experience in project management
-Strong commitment to and understanding of ITPIR’s mission and goals
-Professional experience in developing countries
-Working knowledge of communication software
-Working knowledge of contact databases
