Position Summary: The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full time Advance Practice Practitioner to work in the Crisis Assessment Service at the WakeBrook Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. Principal responsibilities will include providing clinical assessments and plan of care management for patients currently experiencing a mental health crisis as well as provide extender support for patients on the Wakebrook Campus. The successful candidates will work side by side with a team of psychiatrists and primary care physicians and provide compassionate, evidence based psychiatric care. This position is a full time night positon - 3 shifts, 36 hours per week.

Education Requirements: Applicants must have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program, have received and maintained certification, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.

Qualification and Experience: Prior experience or demonstrated interest in caring for patients with severe mental illness is desired.
