MA Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor, IO Psychology
Job Summary: The Department of Psychology invites applications for a non-tenure track position of Director of the Masters of Arts (MA) program in Industrial and Organizational (IO) Psychology and Assistant Professor. The MA Director's main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Psychology * Recruit and field questions from potential graduate students for Master's program in IO Psychology * Review applications and admit students to graduate program * Meet with graduate students for advising on courses, career goals, and internship experiences * Participate in overall IO program culture and governance, including opportunity to participate in PhD program While traditional research requirements are not associated with the appointment, the MA Director teaches a reduced load of courses per year. The MA Director may have additional reductions in teaching as course releases are available through working on internship papers, theses, and dissertations, if desired. In addition to a long established MA program in IO Psychology, the Department of Psychology at Roosevelt University includes a PhD program in IO Psychology, Clinical Master's program, APA accredited Clinical PsyD program, and a large undergraduate program. Minimum Qualifications: M.A. in IO Psychology or a related field, experience working with students in either an applied or academic setting.
