Tusculum College is currently accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant to the Schools of Business & Technology and Education.  This position provides direct support for the dean and faculty/staff of both schools.  The position is responsible for planning, initiating, directing, and facilitating activities in support of both schools including: administrative paperwork, facilitating adjunct support, developing meeting minutes, event planning, and facilities management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited university is required, Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates for this position must have previous office experience, extensive knowledge of computers with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Publisher, Word, and Calendar Management). Note taking and transcription is preferred. This position requires strong organizational and data entry skills with the ability to multi-task. Articulate oral and written communication skills and customer service skills are mandatory. Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be detail oriented. This position requires an individual who has an outgoing personality, a flexible attitude, a high level of energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork.
