Judson College, a private college of arts, sciences, and professional studies located in Marion, Alabama, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Music. The successful candidate will teach applied voice, additional courses within the department (such as music history and/or sight-singing/ear training), and one course per year that supports the general education curriculum of the College. The successful candidate will also actively participate in Music Department events and participate in activities such as workshops, festivals, master classes and adjudications.  The successful candidate will have minor administrative responsibilities, and will engage in the active recruiting of music majors and performers who will study voice in a NASM-accredited Music Department situated in an institution that recently had her accreditation reaffirmed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools with no recommendations. 

Minimum qualifications include a D.M.A. in voice performance, a record of success as a performer, and an active record of creative and/or scholarship work.
