Minimum Education/Experience: Must have excellent communication skills. Must have a terminal (MD or DO) degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Must be board certified, or eligible to sit for the certifying examination in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in North Carolina.

Job Duties: Work duties are primarily provision of patient care to adults and children in our Med-Ped clinic (Adult and Pediatric Health Center) but also teaching and supervision of residents. Opportunities for teaching students and performing research are provided. Clinical work on the inpatient medicine and/or pediatric services can be included if desired. The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Tenure track or fixed term position at the rank/title of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor available depending on experience and training. Salary is commensurate with rank/title.
