Minimum Education/Experience: MD from an appropriately accredited institution. Experience in patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team is required. The candidate must be able to meet licensing requirements in the state of North Carolina. Candidate must have completed a kidney and pancreas ASTS certified fellowship and candidates should be board certified in general surgery. The candidate should have a proven interest and ability to teach residents and medical students and a strong background in basic science or clinical research.
