PT Administrative Secretary, Public Affairs (Temporary) (Short Term)

Distinguishing Career Features:
This position provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the department or office.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, supplemented by course work in general office skills and 1 year of experience in general clerical and keyboarding.

The hourly rate is $13.64

Conditions of Employment:
This is a short-term hourly temporary position. Hours of employment will vary, but not to exceed 25 hours per week and 175 days per year. Schedule to be determined by the hiring department. This position will require flexible availability; able to work evenings or weekend.

Employment is to be effective according to departmental needs.

Individual who is offered employment shall be required to obtain fingerprints for a criminal history clearance through the State Department of Justice, produce an original social security card, and submit negative TB test results (must be within the past four years or within the last 60 days if not previously employed in a school district in California) before employment.

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and signing of loyalty oath per Government Codes 3100-3109.
