Minimum Education/Experience: An earned doctorate in nutrition or closely related field is required by the time of appointment. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires substantive research productivity demonstrated by records of scholarly achievement through publications, presentations, and demonstrated ability to secure external funding.

Job Duties: The Department of Nutrition Science within the College of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, North Carolina invites qualified applicants to apply for a position in the area of clinical dietetics/nutrition science at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin August 2018. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses, advise undergraduate and graduate majors, undertake research, pursue external funding, and provide service to the department, university, community, and profession. Likely areas of teaching specialization will include nutritional assessment and advanced clinical practice. However, other courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level may be assigned.
