The University of Chattanooga Foundation, Inc., is seeking a Director of Annual Giving for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) campus. The Director will design, implement and evaluate programs whose purpose is to build a long-term base of support for the University.

The Director of Annual Giving provides leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs whose purpose is to build a long-term base of support for the University. As a member of the Development and Alumni Affairs Team, the Director works actively with colleagues to fulfill the overall mission of the division: engage alumni and donors as advocates, volunteers, and philanthropic partners to ensure that the University and Foundation achieves its strategic priorities. This person will create, implement and evaluate a comprehensive, multi-year plan to increase strategic solicitation of financial support from Alumni, Friends and Parents of the University.

A bachelor degree is required with 3 to 5 five years of general fundraising or sales and marketing experience with a solid understanding of fundraising principle and methodologies.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, perform in a fast-paced environment and have measurable success in a collaborative work place. Must be able to meet deadlines, make decisions, and interact effectively with diverse groups. High energy, creative, organized, self-motivated and detail oriented. Formal training in marketing/direct mail marketing is an asset.
