GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of ENGLISH invites applications for a two-year appointment in medieval literature beginning Fall 2018. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests might include, but are not limited to: early English literature, the history of the English language, medievalism in later periods (such as the Middle Ages on film), the global Middle Ages, or critical theories of race, gender, nationalism, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality.
