Assistant Professor of Counseling Education
GARDNER-WEBB UNIVERSITY invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education position in the School of Psychology and Counseling, beginning August 2018. Primary responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses and providing clinical supervision to internship students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program on the Boiling Springs Campus and the Charlotte Center.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP institution is preferred (candidates nearing degree completion will be considered). Professional work experience as a counselor is required, and applicants should be eligible for licensure in North Carolina. Training in and experience in marriage and family therapy is preferred. Prior teaching experience is preferred as is experience with CACREP accreditation standards.
