Duties: Supervise, coordinate & administer operations (including maintenance, repair, renovation, housekeeping, special events, safety and security) in assigned building(s) and in surrounding grounds with the objective of insuring optimum delivery. Serve as the liaison between building occupants and all University Departments and outside vendors responsible for building operations. Troubleshoot problems, recommend and implement solutions to problems and emergencies. Monitor Housekeeping supervision. Prioritize building needs. Coordinate utility shutdowns and emergency drills. Coordinate special events, which may include some evening and weekend hours. Maintain on-call status in case of utility shutdowns, emergencies, service requests, or investigations in assigned buildings. Provide operational and facilities support to other SAS buildings in the absence of the regularly assigned Sr. Building Administrator.
Qualifications: An Associate's Degree or two year college equivalent and 2 year to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be available to work nights and weekends as required. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills with varied constituencies also required.
