Brief Description of Work for this Position:
Duties include: Preventive maintenance and repair of electric and gas food service equipment within twenty-seven food service locations, and work in Auxiliary Maintenance shop
Trouble shooting, repairing, and P.M. food equipment air filters, water filters, and refrigeration condenser coils
Minor repairs to buildings, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration units
May assist other technicians on complex maintenance issues when needed
Refrigeration: P.M. food equipment condensate pans/drain lines,
condenser coils, and assist other technicians as needed
Electrical: Troubleshoot, repair, and P.M. food equipment, reset breakers, replace outlets, check and repair cords on equipment, and assist other technicians as needed
Plumbing: Minor repair to faucets, equipment water lines, drain
lines, as it pertains to food service equipment, and occasionally
assist with Food equipment installation
Repair/replace sink drains. Unclog drains for food equipment using plungers and snake lines.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Any combination of training and experience pertaining to the trades that demonstrates the minimum qualifications to perform the tasks as described.

Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Valid Driver’s License

Preferred formal education or training, professional skills and work experience:
Any combination of High School, GED, Trade school, and verifiable on job experience as it pertains to the Food Service Equipment Repair and Maintenance
Experience in appliance repair a positive
Electrical, gas, or food equipment certification a plus

Work Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM (some flexibility possible)
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Hours Per Week: 40
Recruitment Range: 17.00/hour - 18.00/hour, depending on experience
