Position Summary: The UNC Cancer Network provides oncology education to clinicians, patients, and community members throughout North Carolina. Our program is focused on providing access for community health care providers, health care students, and the general public, who are interested in participating in UNC-sponsored, regularly-scheduled Telehealth Lectures, Community Lunch and Learn Lectures, Community College Oncology Lectures and E-Tumor Boards. We are continually expanding our online learning program to include more participants from more organizations. The new Continuing Education Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and expanding online oncology education programs for health care professionals and the general public across North Carolina.

Application Deadline:

Education Requirements: A Masters degree and minimum of 18 months of experience in distance education or a related field required.

Qualification and Experience: - Experience developing and delivering online education programs. - Experience with healthcare and healthcare education preferred. - Experience with the process of receiving, awarding, and qualifying for continuing education credit preferred. - Experience with video conferencing and web conferencing preferred. - Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred. - Experience with WordPress preferred. - Experience with mechanisms for capturing online presentations preferred. - Experience with Salesforce is a plus. - Experience with automated marketing tools a plus. - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. - Proficiency in video production preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in grant writing preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office. - Must have a valid driver's license. - Must be available for occasional travel. - Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds. - Must be able to occasionally crawl under tables and desks, and climb short ladders to adjust equipment. - Experience with providing customer support to a variety of different customer profiles
