Description of primary duties and responsibilities:
Fayetteville State University is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System. Description of Work Continued:
The School of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University seeks to hire a faculty member to teach graduate level courses in Healthcare Management, beginning Fall 2017. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure track position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of healthcare-related topics, including managed care, finance, marketing, and information systems. The ideal candidate must be a scholar and enthusiastic about working with students. Specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the individual hired, but the successful candidate will be expected to:

1) Teach 3 courses per semester
2) Conduct research leading to peer reviewed publications
3) Assist with grants, special projects, and other tasks as may be required
4) Provide university and community service consistent with the goals of the School of Business and Economics.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Doctoral business degree with a concentration or prior experience in a healthcare administration-related field

Preferred Qualifications:
Education preferably from an AACSB accredited university
