Summary of Duties:
The Instructional Lab Supervisor is responsible for assigning and overseeing approximately 25-30 graduate teaching assistants for the introductory physics and astronomy labs each semester, including weekly lab training sessions. This position will plan and present orientation program for new graduate students in August. This position will develop and/or modify introductory lab experiments and student manuals for the introductory physics laboratories. This position is responsible for supervising lab support positions. This position will develop, prepare and submit educational and training grant applications periodically, and develop fiscal plan and budget for use of student lab fees.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the discipline which has included at least one (1) year of lead experience. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience exclusive of the lead experience.
