HVAC Instructor

Job description

Teach coursework in the HVAC Program. Work with local industry partners, assist in recruitment of students, and refine curriculum and participation in department and College activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journey-worker status OR an Associate’s degree in career field and 4 years related full-time occupational experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years related full-time occupational experience required. Local, State, or Regional Journeyworker license required. Teaching and/or training experience preferred. May involve travel to other campuses, for day, evening and/or weekend classes. 232 day, 12-month contract. A teaching demonstration will be part of the interview process. Hiring process includes a background check.  Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
