Job description

Duties: The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a candidate for a research specialist with extensive experience in Drosophila genetics, molecular biology, and larval behavior paradigms. Responsibilities include coordinating numerous ongoing projects and lead all technical aspects including behavioral genetics, techniques related to custom machine vision approaches and imaging analysis.

Qualifications: Masters Degree and 3 to 5 yrs of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree a plus. Applicants must have extensive experience in Drosophila genetics, molecular biology, and larval behavioral paradigms.
