Job description

Duties: Working under minimal supervision, support mental health policy-related research studies by acquiring, cleaning, and analyzing secondary Medicaid enrollment/claims and related data. Duties include: manipulate raw secondary data to make it research-ready; work with investigators to determine the appropriate statistical/analytical methods; create datasets for research studies using SAS programming and perform data analyses; record and maintain documentation of longitudinal Medicaid database information; and provide technical expertise in secondary data management and analysis.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, analytics, or public policy field, and 3 years of related experience, or alternatively, a Master's degree and 1 year of related experience. Experience must include data management and statistical analysis of mental healthcare secondary data from multiple sources and formats (e.g., Medicaid enrollment and claims), creating datasets using SAS programming, and maintaining documentation using a research database application such as REDCap. Background checks required.
