The Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Sinai Health System, in conjunction with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, seeks one physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist fulfilling the academic position description of Clinician Teacher, Clinician in Quality and Innovation, or Clinician Investigator. The position will be based at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare with opportunity to provide consultation services at Mt. Sinai Hospital. The successful candidate should be eligible for a Full-time Clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. The expected start date is July 1, 2018 or shortly thereafter.
The Division of PM&R at Sinai Health System will consider candidates with broad clinical and academic interests related to PM&R but preference will be given to candidates who have completed or are enrolled in an advanced degree or fellowship training program touching upon neurorehabilitation, spasticity management, transitions of care, and/or the treatment of medically complex patient populations. Academic experience as demonstrated by publications in leading journals, presentations at significant conferences, awards, and accolades will be an asset. Responsibilities will include the provision of clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching, and active participation in research. The successful candidate will join a collegial and collaborative practice group and will enjoy wide latitude in cultivating clinical and academic interests. He or she must hold an MD degree, have, or be eligible for, certification in PM&R by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Estimated remuneration will be in the range of $250,000 to $300,000 per annum and commensurate with academic rank, qualifications, and experience.
