Immunology of Infectious Diseases Assistant Professor

Job Summary: We seek to recruit an immunology of infectious diseases researcher to complement existing strengths in infectious disease research and vaccinology. We aim to hire an individual with a strong record of productivity as well as a commitment to the teaching mission of the department. The position includes a competitive salary, sufficient laboratory space and a generous start-up package. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a nationally recognized and competitive externally funded research programs, and contribute to teaching in the undergraduate curriculum. This position will be within the academic unit of the Department of Infectious Diseases, and the research unit Center for Vaccines and Immunology in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, DVM or equivalent degree in a biomedical or biological science and have two or more years of postdoctoral training.
Preferred Qualifications: Immunology teaching experience for at least one year.
