Summary of Duties:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management, the University Registrar, serving in a multi-campus environment, is the institution's system-wide chief academic records officer and has primary responsibility for managing the daily operations and budget of the Office of the Registrar. The University Registrar maintains the integrity, accuracy, and security of academic records; manages course scheduling and classroom use; plans registration and assesses student progress toward degree completion; verifies enrollment and graduation; and ensures system-wide compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The University Registrar develops policies and procedures to ensure equitable and consistent administration of university academic regulations and procedures across all campuses. The University Registrar publishes the annual university academic catalog and maintains the on-line catalog. The Registrar effectively and collaboratively utilizes technology to provide high-quality services to students and faculty. The Registrar plays a key leadership role in evaluating, implementing, and supporting services and initiative that promote student success, fiscal accountability, and the University's strategic goals. Serves as a member of the Enrollment Management Leadership group for the university.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
