Student Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist

Job description

Reporting to the Associate Director of Enrollment, Marketing, and Partnerships, the Enrollment Manager is responsible for meeting enrollment goals by developing, planning, executing, and managing student recruitment activities for assigned academic programs, including inquiry/applicant follow-up, recruitment events, and engagement with external and community organizations. The position is also responsible for meeting student retention and enrollment benchmarks in assigned programs by pro-actively providing superior, student-centered academic coaching and advising on issues directly and indirectly related to students' academic planning, progress, and performance.

As the primary enrollment manager for their program(s), the Student Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist manages a recruitment budget, including determining spending channels/allocation, and is responsible for making effective independent decision making that advances enrollment performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years' recruitment or applicable sales experience.
  • Understanding and ability to advise non-traditional working adult professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience recruiting and/or advising graduate/adult students.
  • 4-5 years' experience in developmental advising, career/education planning for working professionals taking online programs.
