Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for identifying, recruiting and enrolling a large, highly qualified and diverse new student class each year. The unit processes over 30,000 applications for freshman, transfer and international admissions.
Essential Job Duties: An Advanced Admissions Evaluator fulfills the administrative requirements to manage and evaluate applications and academic records of prospective freshman, transfer and international students. Following established admissions guidelines for quantifiable data and using judgment regarding other factors, make appropriate admissions decisions to admit, deny, or set up application file for further review. This position assists with daily evaluations, batch loads of test scores, transcripts, and documents sent to the office via a variety of vendors. This position must posses a base level of understanding and have experience evaluating individual applications and documents prior to moving into this level. Requirements for this position include paying extremely close attention to detail and demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision with speed and accuracy under the pressure of deadlines.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree - Experience in a University work setting - Experience in a paperless records management system is a plus - Previous experience in admissions processing is strongly recommended
