RESEARCH SPECIALIST B
Duties: The research specialist will perform a broad range of experiments related to the study of alveolar epithelial regeneration. Experiments will include working with mice as well as basic molecular and cellular biology techniques that include tissue culture, Western blots, histology, flow cytometry and PCR. The Principal Investigator will work with the research specialist to design experiments and the research specialist will be expected to perform and troubleshoot the experiments.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with mouse models of lung injury and knowledge of how to isolate specific cell types for tissue culture.
