Under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioner Supervisor and CAST clinic MDs, the MA performs basic medical, technical, and administrative support services for the Pediatric CAST Medical Unit. Duties include: Collecting and recording patient data and vital signs, assist with patient flow, update patient files, administrative liaison, special project coordination, provide clinical operations support to LVN, NP, and physicians, coordinating the schedule of patients, registering patients into EMR, maintaining database and records, ordering office supplies, scheduling ancillary services (such as laundry, shredding, hazardous waste), billing law enforcement, billing patient insurances (when applicable), answering phones, setting up and coordinating meetings and conferences, preparing statistical reports as required by the different agencies, and assisting with resident and nursing student education schedules. The incumbent will also processing subpoenas and notifying the appropriated parties, as well as preparing the reports and photographs requested by court is also required.

Salary: Hourly $19.93 - $22.01
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
