Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology

Job Summary/Description

The Department of Physics and Geosciences at Angelo State University invites applications for a nine-month visiting faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August 2018.

Typical Duties/Job Duties

The successful candidate will teach introductory geology courses as well as have the opportunity to teach a course in their specialty.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

We seek candidates that demonstrate an interest in undergraduate teaching. The successful applicant must possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be dedicated to excellence in teaching with a strong commitment to high professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Geology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
