Minimum Education/Experience: A doctoral degree in marketing from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines is required. The candidate must possess the qualifications necessary to be designated a professionally qualified faculty member in accordance with AACSB standards. Candidates with PhD newly conferred at the time of initial appointment will hold the probationary rank of Assistant Professor. ABD candidates will be considered. ABD candidates will also be initially appointed with the probationary term rank of Assistant Professor and must have the terminal degree conferred prior to the first reappointment.

Job Duties: The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, in the College of Business at East Carolina University, invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position in the area of Marketing at the assistant or associate professor level. The candidate should have a sales focus and an interest in entrepreneurship. A standard teaching load is nine semester hours. A continuous stream of quality research is required for tenure, as is an effort at obtaining external funding. Service to the university, community, and profession is expected, as well as any additional duties assigned by the department chair. The position starts August 16, 2019.
