Duties: The Project Administrator will administer the work of University Council. Responsible for maintenance of Office of the University Secretary and Trustee websites, databases, and keeping current with new technologies. Provides high level administrative and project management for the Office of the University Secretary, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Plan and supervise the yearly cycle throughout the University for diplomas for the three graduations in May, August and December. Through annual updates with peer institutions' procedures and processes assure that the University's diplomas are up to date and conform with 'best practices' of peer institutions.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 5 years of experience, preferably in a higher education environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize and bring to completion multiple tasks, experience in project management within a large, decentralized organization. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Handle work requiring complex and/or specialized knowledge. Maintain trusted, confidential and professional relationship with University and external staffs.
Advanced/Superior knowledge of and experience with Atlas database, Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro, HTML, and Dreamweaver. Operate various office machines including copier, FAX, computer, etc.
Demonstrated experience in handling confidential information with discretion. Use substantial judgment, initiative, and critical thinking in performing duties. Willingness to work occasional overtime, as needed.
