Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NE1. Wage minimum $17.84/hr.
Experience in college admissions, higher education administration, or online learning is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with various teams are essential. Experience with a Customer Relationship Management system is required.
The University of Louisville's Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning on Belknap Campus is seeking an Enrollment Counselor Senior. Reporting to the Manager of Enrollment Management, the Counselor will conduct telephone-based personal interviews to qualify prospective students on their educational goals and interests. Advise students on admission requirements with the goal of encouraging them to apply; collaborate with the Enrollment Manager to monitor the outbound call process to maximize online student recruitment standards. Act as a contact agent when necessary. Serve as a liaison between the prospective student and online program's staff and faculty; and escalate inquiries to the respective department as necessary. Coordinate prospective student campaigns for all online programs within the CRM in order to appropriately represent online program offerings.
Assist the Enrollment Manager with developing strategies to secure new online students by using CRM capabilities. Act as online learning liaison and consult with academic units, admissions, student financial aid, and other student support units to gather necessary policy, procedural, and online program information to guide prospects through the application process. Work with the Enrollment Manager and the Systems/Data Analyst to evaluate gaps in daily inquiry management processes and improve workflow efficiency, speed and effectiveness, while maintaining a high level of quality in servicing prospective students. Assist the Enrollment Manager with on-boarding new staff as necessary; train and mentor student worker(s) and new contact agents and counselors. Stay up-to-date on all partner programs admissions requirements, tuition rates and curriculum changes. Assist with the dissemination of any updates to the team. Assist with departmental training and ensure the team has an accurate knowledge base at all times. Schedule may require working 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
