Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs (in collaboration with the Department of History ), invites outstanding researchers to apply for appointment as a Postdoctoral Research Associate or more senior. Primary criteria are the quality of the applicant's research and expertise in the sociological and historical study of drug policy, with emphasis on situating contemporary drug policies in relation to 19th and 20th century politics and society. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as opportunities for collaboration with Princeton faculty. The selected candidate may participate in the teaching program if mutually agreed, with sufficient course enrollments, and with the approval of the Dean of the Faculty. Appointment will be for one year, starting on July 1, 2018, with the possibility of renewal contingent on satisfactory performance and funding. The selected candidate is expected to be in residence during the term of appointment. Applicants must have a doctorate by the time of the appointment and demonstrate commitment to conduct primary research in the history and sociology of U.S. health policy.
