St. Edward's University invites applications for a renewable one-year full-time senior instructor faculty position in the Department of Computer Sciences, to begin in August 2018. Areas of specialization given special immediate consideration include experience in software engineering and software project management and development. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Duties include teaching 2 courses (3 or 4 sections total) per semester according to departmental needs and course assignments. Responsibilities also include involvement in university, school, and departmental activities. Other required faculty duties as specified in the Faculty Manual.

Master's degree in computer science or closely related field is required and must include 18 hours of graduate level computer science courses. Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching is desired. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.
