Nature of Work:
The purpose of this job is to enhance the overall educational experience of students. The Coordinator of Marketing and Involvement Programs reports to the Associate Director of the Center for Student Involvement and will develop, coordinate and implement an on-going marketing plan, which communicates the value of involvement, and provides consistent and uniform messaging (social media, print media, and publication design) of all involvement and program/event opportunities from the Center for Student Involvement, and the recognition of the accomplishments of student leaders at UWG This position will manage all CSI social media, to include Facebook Instagram and snapchat, and emerging social media platforms, maintain compliance with UWG social media policy.
The position will also manage OrgSync, our campus engagement network system, including student organization registration process, user imports/exports, facilitate system training and promotion, involvement/system reports, update homepage to market events, leadership opportunities and volunteer opportunities and run involvement/system reports for statistical purposes. The Coordinator will also provide on-going resources and development for student organizations and organization advisors.
Bachelor’s required, 1-2 years full time or as graduate assistant advising student organizations or students, 1-2 years full time or as graduate student developing/implementing involvement and marketing programs, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, ability to manage an online engagement system, ability to manage a budget.
Master’s degree in Student Development, Higher Education or a closely related field preferred.
Salary $17.14 minimum - $22.38 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Those consistent with general office work. Must be able to traverse campus, and stand for periods of time.
