Primary Function of Organization Unit: NC State was awarded a five-year, $25 million grant by the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research and Development to head a consortium that will develop the next generation of leaders with practical experience in technical fields relevant to nuclear nonproliferation. The Consortium for Nonproliferation Enabling Capabilities (CNEC) was created and comprises seven partner universities. This position will support the administrative needs of the consortium.

Essential Job Duties: *This is a time limited position expected to last 1.5 years* The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and office support for the Consortium for Nonproliferation Enabling Capabilities (CNEC). Responsibilities include: * Use computer software to prepare vendor payments and PCard purchases and financial statements ensuring timeliness, accuracy of codes, and appropriate backup * Process office travel and reimbursements; co-ordinate official travel when necessary * Assist with preparation of regularly scheduled reports as required * Perform office support duties of file management, purchasing and maintaining office supplies, and coordinating ongoing office space needs * Assist with meeting and event preparation * Assist with website updates * Assist with CNEC's office publications * Provide general support to office visitors * Provide general administrative and clerical support including, mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying * Perform data entry and database management * Draft office correspondence

Minimum Education/Experience:

Department Required Skills: * Knowledge of accounting tasks to include travel and personal reimbursements and monitoring account balances * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: * Bachelors Degree * Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting principles * At least two years of professional experience in an office environment * Ability to correspond with diverse audiences * Experience using PeopleSoft HR * Experience with online financial systems is desired * Experience with online content management system such as WordPress is a plus * Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and efficiency * Good verbal and written communication skills * Good organizational skills * Good computer skills * Experience with webpage management and social media a plus
