CFN SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Duties: The Center for Functional Neuroimaging (CfN) seeks an experienced Linux administrator to operate and maintain a high-performance computing cluster. The cluster is based on the Rocks system and uses the Sun Grid Engine for parallel job processing. The system administrator will oversee the day to day operation of the cluster, perform regular backups, install and upgrade software and hardware, automate common tasks, support ancillary services (e.g. XNAT server), and assist users with using custom software for medical image analysis.
Qualifications: The minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration, including shell scripting is required. Experience with Sun Grid engine, backup systems is preferred. Strong background in computer science and programming are preferred.
