Advertised Job Summary: The Service Management Office Director is the primary point of contact for matters relating to the services delivered to the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) customers. This position is integral in the quality of service and customer satisfaction for delivered services. This position interacts with DoIT Service Strategy and Operations teams, to ensure services provided meet or exceeds the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. The person in this role collaborates with process owners to review trends to identify problems, training or knowledge opportunities to support continuous service improvements. This position is responsible for creating service results that meet or exceed service targets. This position will supervise staff assigned to the service management office, as well, as interact with DoIT process owners.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree in business related field and 4 years related program management experience, or bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience.
