Advertised Job Summary: Supervise the activities of the Tier 2 & 3 Desktop Support Team. This involves the work of technicians engaged in installing, upgrading, and supporting workstations, network hardware and software for faculty, staff, and students. Determine priorities, assign staff, motivate, delegate, and empower staff in the successful performance of their tasks while encouraging innovation. Coordinate between customers and the Desktop Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 1 year experience in computer operations or a related data processing field; or equivalency.
