Required Qualifications:
-Skill in providing quality customer service
-Ability to read and interpret information
-Ability to prepare grammatically correct documentation and/or reports
-Ability to perform a multitude of tasks
-Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and/or radio
-Knowledge of Microsoft applications
-Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and
holidays
-Ability to type 35 wpm

Preferred Qualifications:
-Ability to diplomatically deal with the public or calm down an upset person
-Certification in DPS Basic Communications
-Certification in DPS TLETS
-Certification in TTD/TTY 9-1-1 calls
-Certification in Full Access TCIC/NCIC
-Knowledge of Emergency Communications Field
-Knowledge of Law Enforcement Field
-Knowledge of University Policies and Procedures
-Knowledge of University Parking Rules and Regulations

Job Description:
Responsible for receiving and prioritizing incoming calls

Job Duties:
Coordinate and prioritize emergency/non-emergency interactions between University Police Department personnel and the campus population while monitoring/operating radios, alarm systems, 911/TDD equipment, various State and University computers, and maintaining several activity/data logs
