Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Studies

Job description

The Communication Studies Department of Albion College is looking for one full-time visiting faculty member committed to teaching in a liberal arts environment with a diverse student population.  The position will begin August 2018.  The successful candidate will have a 3/3 teaching load, and will be expected to participate in departmental activities.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Communication Studies; ABD’s will be considered. 
  • Candidates should be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas, including but not limited to Introduction to Human Communication, Public Speaking, Mass Communication, Social Media, Communication & Technology, Public Relations, and a course in the candidate’s area of specialty.
