Lecturer - Chemistry
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching up to 12 contact hours per semester in introductory or general chemistry, including labs. The candidate may serve in administrative roles as course or laboratory coordinator, and may be responsible for student advising.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in chemistry. The successful candidate should have at least one year experience teaching chemistry at the high school or college level. This may include experience as a teaching assistant.
Preferred: A Ph.D. in chemistry is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate teaching ability. The ideal candidate should be familiar with active learning techniques and educational technology, and able to implement these in a classroom setting.
