Job description

Duties: Directs all phases of the Admissions process at PennVet. Responsible for chairing the Vet School Admissions Committee consisting of 12 faculty and up to four alumni, including guiding the Committee on appropriate regulations and considerations as they relate to Admissions, interviewing protocols and techniques, and awarding of recruitment scholarships. Responsible for analyzing admissions trends and set strategy for future admissions cycles. Manages admission database, selecting competitive applicants, advising prospective applicants and responsible for training admissions committee members. Manages the Transfer and Clinical Year Admissions process interviewing these applicants and making admissions decisions.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience and knowledge of admissions process for medical professional schools highly preferred.
