Director, Project Management & Customer Success, UCLA Advancement Services
UCLA Advancement Services performs vital administrative, financial and technology services to External Affairs (EA) departments as well as facilitates and supports the broad range of its customers’ activities through a variety of value-added services including application development, management and support. This department is a key partner in major initiatives across EA that span a wide variety of business applications and system technologies.
The Director of Project Management & Customer Success will report to the Senior Executive Director of Application Development & Information Services and will be responsible for managing application development projects and applications support services. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of project managers and business analysts as well as providing oversight of the EA Application Services Support Desk and application training. The Director will be highly results-oriented, focused on achieving customer success and energized by solving complex business or system issues.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 7 years’ business analysis and project management experience with a strong track record of successfully managing IT projects in a complex, diverse and challenging business and IT environment. He/She will also have expert knowledge of project and software development lifecycle methodologies; extensive knowledge of project management activities; strong written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a wide variety of internal and external constituents. In addition, the Director will have the ability to analyze complex technical and administrative information and be able to adapt to changing technology and business environments.
